Fall 2022 Curling Season

We’re gearing up for the 2022-23 curling season at the Finger Lakes Curling Club! Here’s some information about the upcoming fall season:

Learn-to-Curl Sessions

  • The club is offering two Learn-to-Curl sessions in the first half of October. The first will be on Sunday, October 9, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm; the second will be Saturday, October 15, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
  • Registration for the Learn-to-Curl sessions can be found here:  https://fingerlakescurling.org/learntocurl/  Share this link with your friends — it’s a great way to introduce curling to other members of our community and potentially grow the club.
  • We will need volunteers to help out at each of these events. If you haven’t volunteered at a Learn-to-Curl before, don’t worry! We’ll give you some tips and instruction on how to teach someone the curling basics. Sign up to volunteer here:  https://www.signupgenius.com/go/805094bafa728a13-flcc

Fall League Registration

  • The fall league will run for 10 Saturdays starting on October 22 and ending on January 21, with no curling on November 26, December 3, December 24, and December 31.
  • Draws will be 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm for the first four weeks, then 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm for the remaining six weeks.
  • Register for the fall league here:  https://fingerlakescurling.org/membership-2/

Day Curling

  • Day curling provides an opportunity to practice or play in a pick-up game during the daytime on a weekday.
  • Day curling sessions will run from noon to 2:00 pm and start the first or second week of October. We are still working out which day of the week it will be, but we should have that sorted out in the coming week.
  • The cost for day curling is $20 per session.
  • If you’re interested in day curling, contact Jeff Tonole (jtonole@gmail.com) for more information and to get on the day curling e-mail list.
